"Private Eyes"

People have found a lot of fun applications for various versions of Google Maps, Google Earth, and what not. One of the best stories I remember involved someone spotting a miniature version of a mountain range separating India and China... next to a Chinese army base. People also spotted a full size "Disneyland" knock off. Now comes news of a slightly different sort. A director at the Federation of American Scientists spotted photographic evidence of the new Chinese nuclear sub.

Full story (what there is of it) here.

I'm buying a tinfoil hat.

Yikes. (I like how the foil hat page has instructions to keep it secret, too.)

I found this via Drudge. A few days later it made slahshdot, and then a few days after that I saw it in the Post. Makes you wonder...

The best part of the tin foil hat, is how easy it is. This is not epic level hat making. Just roll, squish and go!
